This Fall, ASK’s National Honor Society members are working with other campus clubs to give the Academy a fall carnival. The event will take place at The ASK Academy on October 25 from 5-8 p.m. Admission is free, though to enjoy the experience to its fullest and participate in the variety of games, raffles, competitions, and concessions, students will need to purchase tickets, which are $.25 each. Each booth varies in the number of tickets required to participate.
Scholars, family, and friends are invited to the event with no visitor forms needed. The carnival will have a cake walk, a doughnut-eating contest, a ring toss, face painting, a barbecue dinner, water shooting games, and more.
Makeila Maguire, president of National Honor Society, said some interesting news will be shared at the carnival. “Scholars should look forward to a special announcement regarding uniforms. More information will be available at the carnival.”
She said NHS’ goal of hosting the carnival is to encourage other clubs on campus to create their own themed activities for scholars to enjoy. This also serves as a fundraising tool for clubs and gets the word out that they exist.
