Glitz, glamor and the elegance of the 1920s is what this year’s prom is all about.
ASK’s prom season is upon us, and will be held this Saturday at Hotel Albuquerque (800 Rio Grande Blvd NW) from 8 pm – 11 pm, tickets are $20. Light refreshments will be provided. A senior prom king and queen will be voted on at the dance.
“Planning for prom went smoothly, we all agreed on everything, theme, venue, and decorations. There was really good communication, everyone communicated well, but there was one conflict, the seniors in dance committee want everything to be perfect, so that added some extra stress,” says dance committee member Emily Garcia, a sophomore. That being said, “Prom is definitely going to be amazing, the decorations are simple yet elegant, and the venue by itself is amazing and fits the theme well.”
