This Friday will be the perfect opportunity for scholars to dress up and hang out with friends at school. The ASK Academy Dance Committee is hosting its second Halloween Dance in the the history of ASK, held in the Commons from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Mario Andreatta, president of the dance committee said, “We got the idea to have a halloween dance from Ms. Del Curto. She said that they had one when The ASK Academy first opened.”  Andreatta predicts many scholars will show up to the dance and also dress up. It is different and something new that has not been done for a while.

Freshman Angelo Speaker said, “ I’m not going to dress up because it’s stupid. I’m going to go hang out with my friends.”

Senior Johanna Poirier said if she goes she will dress up and most likely wear something that she already owns.

Classic Halloween-themed music and spooky decorations are expected for the halloween dance. Rather than having a DJ, scholars requested music and a playlist will be compiled based off those requests.

Andreatta said that costumes are not required, but encouraged. Scholars must be in school appropriate costumes, and toy guns will not be allowed.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

Scholars who are interested in bringing a date from another school must turn in the paperwork to Mr. Busse before Friday. The paperwork can be picked up from Mary Lou at the front office.

For any other questions about Friday’s dance, contact Mario Andreatta at mandreatta@theaskacademy.org
