Cincinnati Bengals VS Houston Texans

When the game started The Bengals wished to snap a five game losing streak against the Texans. The first time the Bengals got the ball, they looked like a whole new team when they took it down to the endzone. Andy Dalton threw a quick ball to Mohamed Sanu, who took it in for a five yard touchdown to put up the first points of the game. The Texans offense was held to field goals by the Bengals defense throughout the game. The Bengals offense went four downs and had to turnover the ball at the 1 yard line. The Bengals tackled Texans running back Alfred Blue in the end zone, making it a safety, handing the ball back to The Bengals, along with two points.  At the beginning of the second half, Texan Quarterback Ryan Mallet threw an interception on the first play of the third quarter, which lead to seven more points for the Bengals. The Bengals snapped a five game losing streak and win 22-13.AP569097303928_1

Dallas Cowboys VS New York Giants

One of the biggest team rivalries in football are between the Cowboys and the Giants.  The Cowboys strong offense was slow to start off the game, so the Giants took their place and scored 21 points in the first half. In the second quarter, Giants rookie receiver Odell Beckham Jr. caught a 43 yard touchdown pass with one hand, while falling backwards through the air. Despite that spectacular catch, the Cowboys came back to life and scored 21 more points. Cowboys running back Demarco Murray came up with another 100 yard running performance to lift the Cowboys to a win, giving them a lead by three points 31-28. The real win of the weekend was Beckham Jr.’s fantastic catch.

Basketball(NBA)

Memphis Grizzlies VS Los Angeles Clippers

I bet the Clippers were surprised when the Grizzlies, who were bad last season, beat them by 16 points 107-91.  The Grizzlies started off strong  in the first quarter, and all they had to do was tie the bag up and bring it home. Marc Gasol for the Grizzlies also scored a high of 30 points for the win with 12 rebounds. The game gave them a record of 12-2, making them one of the best teams in the NBA right now, and proving to the competition that the Grizzlies are the team to beat.

Here is a nice article from one of my colleges about the physics involved http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/25/sports/football/a-lab-perfect-reception-by-the-giants-odell-beckham-jr.html?_r=0
