Staff Report

Student Government has gone through a year of major changes and steps forward. The group held a recruitment session earlier in the semester and doubled in size, and also made the recent talent show a possibility. Led by Senior Austin Reed, who has been a devoted member, Student Government has been diligent in creating an organized way of ministering to the needs of the student body.

After four years of being with Student Government, three of which he was president, Reed officially stepped down from the position on Monday as he prepares for graduation. Reed gave a brief speech to commemorate his memories as a member and the progress that has been made. Next year’s positions were also filled by elected members on Monday.

Positions include class representatives for each grade, Media Representative, Secretary, Vice President, and President. All positions were filled except for President, which will voted upon next week.

Each member holding a position was sworn into their duties by the, now resigned, president.
