Tomorrow talents will be put to the test, as the ASK Student Council hosts the first-ever student talent show. So far, 14 contestants have signed up to showcase their skills. Council member Jordan Hines said there will be a variety of acts including, music, singing, comedy, and animation. “I think it will be pretty cool to see what kind of hidden talents scholars have,” he said.

Hines is one of the acts himself, and said he is slightly nervous. “I have honestly never done anything like this before,” he laughed. “But I am performing with three other guys so it is nice to have that support.”

The show will begin Thursday at 5 p.m. and will be held at Elks Lodge, 1530 Barbara Loop SE. It is free to the public.
